The company was founded in 1989 with staff that shares more than six decades of collective experience as both broadcast and independent producers. Sutherland Media Productions is a full-service production company with experience executing all creative and technical elements of a production from concept through completion. Ann DeStefano Sutherland, president and owner of the company, serves as senior producer for all of the company’s projects – developing concept and approach, and directing all research, videography and post-production functions. Ann has more than 30 years of production experience and is an accomplished producer, director and writer, specializing in documentary-style programs. She has built a reputation among her clients, and within the Washington production community, as a highly creative professional with an eye for detail.
